On uselessness and partiality

A quick query look at the few previous years of my life was enough to have a valuable sample and effective sum-up of uselessness.and it is the most easily encountered uselessness in mankind, since its "forced-uselessness". whether it was because of people around me,personnal or medical problem,i shall not expand myself on it,this blog simply isn't about my depressive way of life (not so much anymore anyway).but i'm growing conscient that it is well distributed among mankind. Peter's Syndrome. An employee will rise up to his level of incompetence.that is to say,the more one rises in the society,or in a society, the more he will have a tendancy to lure the higher level by surrounding himself with incapable assholes, so as to demonstrate his full capability.well, being given who surrounds him, and the fear he has of losing his position,or the things that goes along (wife/car/house/club-membership usw...),this once modest employee will be less efficient than he was a long time ago when member of a capable team because his boss wasn't afraid of losing his job (which he should have been, since he has been replaced by our employee...how vicious). let's not exergue on it. there ARE places where one's creativity/intelligence is so smartly pushed beyond its limits, that no one is rising to its level of incompetence, but these are mostly young enterprises/ones which relies on a mluti-point-of-view creativity so that no one could ever get harmed by hiring someone capable. i'm here referring freely to Apple, to Google Corp, and to Blizzard entertainment. huh once again i'm going too far too quickly.let's return to uselessness before naming the quite-so-perfect companies of the world. most of the forced-uselessness is not because of what's politically correct and what is not.that does only block the best ideas.no it's more of a consensus between man and mankind about how quick it should evolve,if it ever should. for instance: whether it is in a hundred years or in a hundred million earth's going to disappear and we have to face the truth. right now we are dangerously nearing the kuiper belt just after mars' passage and it's very likely that some dumb fat asteroid will come by and say hello.i didn't say it will be tommorow,i said it is a probable fact in the next hundred years.if it doesnt happen, all the better for us.but i wouldn't like to live in a bunker because of a frozen eternal winter. right now we are heading for a beautiful little black hole, which gravitational sphere we should enter in a few millions years, but since we can't direct the "wind" or "adjust our sails" we're prettily fucked up and doomed. the only potential answer to these direct threat to the continuity of mankind is obvious, but too... (present in the imaginary as Sci-Fi background/impossible/laughable/Difficult to grasp but too true to be left unseen?) mankind should unite under one earthbound government, previous nations having merely the same rights over their territories than the states of the USA do. i've been thinking a lot about a unified government.it should'nt be federal.but i guess it'll have to do for a few hundred years before the concept of nationality is well enough forgotten for "nations" to surrender their prerogatives over their previous populations. from then,a EarthGov should work on expanding our brooding area. ok nice, the american worked od implanting a permanent base on the moon and prepare an inhabited mission to mars.that's just the beginning.it's fine to pollute our atmosphere with useless spy satellites, but why spend our ressources on war when we should "come together" with a solution that is more or less the colonization of other "earth-like" planets? now that sounds like Sci-Fi.but,a century ago, wasnt "de la terre a la lune"(Jules Vernes) also Sci-Fi? and it turned out to happen. Science fiction is,in my sense, the only support, beside geopolitical strategy,on which mankind can lay its dreams and hope for someone clever enough to use them,to include them in our grand pathway of life. the very fact that i,while writing, and you whoever you are, while reading, are coming to the "Hell it's Sci-Fi,wtf?" is Forced-Uselessness. that is the consensus. you'll have the same hing if you ever think of giving the liberty to leave a cult whenever you want,to whoever wants it. Hell that's dreamish, that's impossible, just like the force being only bacteria in your bloodstream called midichlorians.Impossible, but it should be true. not For me (thanks to my democratic country i was given very early the possibility to choose a religion, and decided to embrace none, since none depicted love and death the way i see them). not for you either (you are reading this on the internet, ergo you come from a "civilized" country and have -more or less- enough freedom tyo decide whether you WANT to believe in a god the humans created,or if you can leave by yourself, making up the purpose of your life as you advance in it. but for the grand majority of earth inhabitants, that's a dream.a DREAM.and i just hope some government will make it become true someday. so the point is,where you begin by seeing uselessness, you discover a psychological barrier. where you begin to unveil a psychological barrier, you map bit by bit a religious problem. while mapping the religious problem you'll either die assassinated or live long enough to become the villain. no one can achieve such revolutions as uniting the world,or giving cult's freedom,or lead to other planet's colonization. but it has to be done "alone".every man just has to bring his little brick to this wall and hope it will hold.then will come a day when someone will unite these parts of wall into one "China Wall". well that's for uselessness.once again, don't expect to truly make some points,i just state things as i see them,or believe i see them. now for partiality. that will take me only a few lines to state down.what makes us partial is not love, nor friendship, nor any morally beautiful feelings for that matters (ah,nor hope that means). what makes ut partials is FEAR.okay now you're laughing.but think twice. it's not loyalty toward o colleague neither is it the love or friendhsip you have for someone. it is the fear of either losing this person,or turning her against you. what would you do for the persons you care about is a fine question. the truly important one however is WHY? out of some misplaced feeling? some misplaced pheromons rush? i believe that what truly drives a man unconsciously, are his fears.pehaps i don't know very well what i'm talking about (you know, all this crap about being too young to understand life),but i faced my worst fears (thanks to nsomnia) and watched my nightmares become true (thanks to the persons i truly loved). fear isn't something terrifying, you just have to learn to live with it,to reckognize it,to acknowledge it and not to let it take over your conscious self.i'm no teacher,i never achieved that.but i came pretty close to it and feel since then a lot more mature/old/ready to live. well well well, what have we here? isn't the fear so near to the consensus that uselessness and partiality ,that are two trees, with apparently separate trunks, seems to share the same roots deep inside? aren't we ,humans,so flawed that out of misplaced judgements we decide either to be partial or to become useless as two different but intrically same response to ? (no,not danger) to evolution.to change.to the accomplishment of things. oh yeah,it's scary deep inside: if i carry this through the end, what will i have, when i'm done?what if the human keeps evolving, what is our next stage in evolution?what if I( there i mean you talking) can change the world by what i do,rather than by what i don't do. on that the american were correct.they choose to stop "not doing" as they had been for the entire cold war,and went into, "doing".they just choosed pretty badly what to do,out of fear, out of anger.okay,i was for irak's invasion.but then i was just a child (as if it was an excuse -since i would be for it if i could go back in time).the fact, beside that the american were wrong to STAY in irak,is that they will ,in time, give birth to the SECOND democracy in the gulf ever to exist (that's with israel, and i'm definitely NOT counting iran in it.when a raped girl is executed because she can't get married anymore, and her rapers are freed because, after all,she wasn't wearing a burkha and that's like calling for a rape... huh...you've got to be kidding me: that's no democracy...) that leads me to my final conclusion.perhaps the lagnuage of earthgov will be english, but there is too much resentment against the american (beside because of they saved the world a few many times, and people do not like being saved),so that if anyone is ever to unite the world,it won't be under their leadership.but it will have to be with them. Oh...and let's starts praying (if you have by now decided beliving in god) for the leadership not coming from a muslim country.my best friend is a mulsim, but then,he isn't half as fanatical as the leaders oflast too long. europe would fall like france in june 1940.and the USA would find themselves forming an heteroclite block along with the chinese and the indian. seems impressive, but wether it would have enough firepower to blow a decisive strike, only history will tell.and as for the war on terrorism.the arab countries are well more versed and efficient in that, you've got to give them credit for that. that's what i felt like telling you for today. nothing more i can do.

On the question of Fear, a group of research called the Beatles<br /> came up with an interesting report :<br /> "What would you think if I sang out of tune,<br /> Would you stand up and walk out on me ?<br /> Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song<br /> And I'll try not to sing out of key."<br /> <br /> <br /> Some points :p<br /> USA saved the world along with Allies, <br /> but after that they did put in place and/or supported<br /> lotsa dictators, or paramilitary extreme-right junte in South America<br /> (really, South-America is a special place, USA's turf where they may mingle as they want, which explain the actual resentment )<br /> <br /> the interesting battle is "for freedom", "for profit" or "for freedom of profit".<br /> <br /> -second point, the earthgov : try just not to get a Starship Troopers fascist EarthGov<br /> <br /> you can see it with china : the more inhabitants in your country, the more need for control, to avoid explosion, seccession.<br /> <br /> Multiply it by the world.<br /> <br /> <br /> -as interstellar-drive does not concern us before 5 or 6 generations you may want to think about enforcing Ecology first.<br /> <br /> <br /> -toward the end of your Essay, you fall into some <br /> overhasty conclusions : Europe stands as a powerful force<br /> so France would not fall easily<br /> and be critical but not afraid of Arabic Countries.<br /> <br /> -Fear between Muslims and Jews and others, quite mixed with a reciprocal hatred is one of the main problem.<br /> <br /> -Until new information world leadership is linked the economic supremacy : so the "relève" may come from China, but Arabic Countries ? I don't think so, especially after the disparition of Oil.<br /> <br /> -let's hope no one will make "decisive blow on anyone"<br /> because as you recall there is enough Nuke on earth<br /> to make it very hot and nasty.<br /> <br /> pom pom pom<br /> and ur english is impressive impressive !
